Once known as The Breadbasket of Africa in 1970, Zimbabweans for the 2nd time in 10 years are going through hyperinflation again, and the people who have had the worst of that are our pensioners. Generation of bankers, doctors, builders and engineers, who knew how to build a country but who knew precious little about how to duck and dive to survive in the land of naughts. After investing 30 or 40 years of their lives in careers and pension schemes, after they spent their entire working career saving for their retirements, they lost everything. Their wealth, their pension and worst of all their dignity, almost over night. Banks collapsed and pensioners became porpers overnight. We seek to soften the injustice of this situation, and let them know they are not forgotten.
If you would like to help feed the needy in Zimbabwe, please consider one box of food for only $60 a month.
